Dr. Melanie Mcardle, Psy.D.
Clinical Neuropsychologist/ director
Dr. McArdle is the Clinical Director and Founder of McArdle & Associates, PLLC. She earned her doctoral degree from William James College with a specialization in Neuropsychology and minor focus in forensics. She completed her predoctoral clinical internship at Staten Island University Hospital, In New York City and her two-year post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School. She has extensive training and experience in medical, psychiatric, forensic hospital and private practice settings. Dr. McArdle has presented her research at numerous regional and national medical conferences with some of her research being featured in Medscape Medical News, a global online destination for physicians and healthcare professionals worldwide (see below for links to published articles).

Christine hopkins
Administrative assistant
Christine, our newest member of the team, joined the practice in August 2025. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Human Services Early Intervention with a minor in Psychology. She has experience in providing healthcare clinics of varying specialties with office and administrative support.
Dakota benson, m.a.
clinical psychometrist
Dakota Benson, M.A., is a Clinical Psychometrist and Mental Health Counselor specializing in neuropsychological assessment across the lifespan and therapy for children and adolescents.
She earned her M.A. in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling and her B.A. in Psychology, with minors in Neuroscience and Biology, from Salve Regina University.
With a strong passion for neuropsychology, Ms. Benson plans to continue her education while pursuing a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. Her clinical interests include learning disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, memory impairments, and cognitive challenges associated with posttraumatic stress. Ms. Benson is committed to providing ethical, patient-centered care, utilizing evidence-based assessment tools to support accurate diagnoses and effective treatment planning. Through her work, she seeks to enhance the understanding of cognitive and psychological functioning, empowering individuals and families on their path to well-being.
Outside of her professional work, Ms. Benson enjoys spending time with her cat, Lychee. In her free time, you might find her on the rugby pitch or performing live with her band.
